Alex Wade is one of the three-guitar brigade that makes up Tennessee-based deathcore band Whitechapel, and his LTD Signature Series guitar needed some special attributes to handle the intensity of his band’s playing style. The LTD AW-7 is a seven-string guitar, with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5″ scale. It is built on a mahogany body, with a fast thin U-shaped maple neck and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. The AW-7’s sound is generated with a set of DiMarzio D-activator 7 pickups, allowing the individual notes of each chord to maintain their own character and clarity. It is finished in a Blood Red Sunburst finish. B stock – may have minor cosmetic flaws that do not affect playability.
