Description
Pre-owned. Manufactured 2013.
This special edition of the American Strat is part of the very rare Factory Special Run series. The Fender FSR American Stratocaster Rustic Ash was modelled after the 2012 American Standard Stratocaster, with a unique finsh that uses a thin white lacquer, letting the beauty of the ash grain shine through. This was the first time Fender added a brown anodised aluminium pickguard. Pickups are the hotter than vintage Texas Special pickups.
Great example of a USA Fender Strat, in the rare Rustic Ash/ Olympic White finish with anodised scratchplate.
This item is in working condition.
The frets are in good shape with a lot of life left in them.
The neck is nice and smooth
Cosmetically, the front shows little signs of wear – there’s a few indentations on the lower horn, and some near the belly cut. On the back there are some score marks towards the centre of the body, presumably from a belt buckle or button. There is some wear to the finish on the lower edge.
A pre-owned Fender Pro Series Case in Black is included.
