It uses set-thru construction for easy access to the highest frets, paired with a three-piece mahogany neck. Its Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and white pearloid ESP flag inlays, and black binding on the neck and matching-finish headstock. Components on the Viper-1000M include a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body, LTD locking tuners, and a set of direct-mount Fishman Open Core Humbucker pickups with push-pull control to activate their multiple voicings.
