Description

The highly-reputed collaboration model between ESP and BABYMETAL, the long-awaited second E-II MF-9 BABYMETAL.

Available for pre-order – we estimate that preorders will arrive in October – they are currently being built in Japan.

Until now, 9-string guitars were limited to exhibitions, this is the first collaboration model with an artist. A graphic with the cover of the latest album “METAL GALAXY” is printed on the front of the body. This album “METAL GALAXY” features a 9-string guitar extensively and will be a must-have item to fully reproduce those songs.

The body of the M series shape is Alder, the neck is hard maple 3P, and the neck is wide so there are two truss rods for correction. The neck is bolted on to the body. The joint part is a smooth finished ERGO joint, which does not impair playability at high frets. The fingerboard is a pau ferro dyed black, and the top and side position marks use Luminlay, a phosphorescent material, to improve visibility in dark places. The scale adopts 711mm (28 inches) to secure the tension of 9 strings. The peg is equipped with a lockable GOTOH MG-T, the bridge is a HIPSHOT, and the pickup is equipped with one EMG 909. The control is only a simple volume.

Comes with an exclusive hard case with the BABYMETAL logo and an A5 size certificate with a signature (print). Limited production until October 31, 2020.
